We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to join our RevOps team, who wants to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment. 

Our goal is to accelerate our clients’ marketing operations by delivering exceptional results and providing first rate customer service. Our NPS score has been in the mid 80s for the past three years and is a testament to the knowledge and professionalism of every employee at Revenue Pulse.  


You will primarily be responsible for acquiring and developing new customers through effective prospecting and sales techniques. As a highly motivated individual, with exceptional interpersonal skills, you will present advertising solutions with a brand recognized product that will demonstrate a proven return on investment to clients. Excellent sales skills and dedication to providing superior customer service are essential. 

 

Revenue Pulse is a 100% remote team, with our HQ in Ottawa, Canada. We are looking for someone based in Canada or the U.S. who can support clients during regular business hours.



What you will be doing:

  • Initiate a steady volume of outbound prospecting calls, email and social media communication to identify and connect with target companies
  • Use Marketing and CRM data to build relationships with C-level executives
  • Follow up on outbound and inbound prospect activities in a timely manner
  • Track activities and maintain relevant information in our CRM
  • Relationship Management – Develop strong relationships throughout the partner organization (Management, sales teams, technical teams, and marketing) 
  • Sales and Marketing Collaterals – Work closely with partner product and marketing team and create partner-specific sales and marketing collaterals including case studies, use cases, battle cards, solution briefs, demo videos.
  • Pipeline Growth and Management – Help partners sales along with sales team on new sales opportunities. Ensure partners, sales reps and management are working together in the sales process.
  • Develop a strategy to effectively prospect territory for new business, maximize existing relationships and set volume targets.
  • Maintain consistent, objective and sound risk assessments.
  • Assist with the development of product enhancements as required.
  • Stay abreast of all related industry issues and ensure the unit remains current on all relevant industry issues.

  • Proven experience in marketing, sales and business development, with a good grasp of risk and marketing principles.
  • A high degree of numerical competency.
  • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Post-secondary education in Sales / Marketing / Business discipline is an asset
  • Strong computer aptitude - SEO / SEM knowledge is an asset
  • Proven track record in business development, partnership/alliance and relationship management roles in the technology industry preferably with networking companies.
  • Inclusive and collaborative – driving teamwork and cross-team alignment
  • Strong presentation and communication skills and ability to articulate complex technology simply
  • Ability to operate within a complex, dynamic and autonomous environment
  • Excellent conflict management skills, with the ability to be fair & firm.
